January 30, 2008

Wild boar hunter Travis Foerg (Zionsville, IN - e-mail: travis1170@sbcglobal.net) bagged a wild hog during an afternoon of wild boar hunting with Ron's Guide Service on January 30, 2008. Travis hunted the sugar cane fields in Glades county.

Dear Capt. Ron,

Sorry i haven't written sooner. Time after vacation has been hectic. I wanted to say I had a blast boar hunting. My dad went along as a non hunter and had a great time too. Dick and Donald were a lot of fun to be with. They made the hunt very laid back and safe. I never thought I would be that close to a wild hog before shooting it. Donald did a great job skinning and cleaning the hog. My dad and I have had some of the meat so far. It was good. The night after the hunt, all of our friends came over to see the pictures and hear the story. Next year when I come down, some other family friends want to go boar hunting too. I have already given your name to them and others we told story to. Thank you for opportunity to hunt. I will look you up next time I am in Florida.
