Here are some photos of our recent hog hunt. I went with a few
guys from work to a town called Lakeport, near Okeechobee. The
hunt was in a sugar cane field. Dogs were used to locate and bay
up the hogs. My hog was probably over 200lbs. I took it with a
Smith and Wesson .357 from about ten yards. All of the hogs were
sows. One of the guys took his with a knife. The others were taken
with 30-30 lever action Winchesters. The guides were very knowledgable
and hardworking. We will definately be planning another trip.
