Cap'n Ron,
My son's and I had a great time hunting boar with Dick, Jeremy,
and Buck. I
can't recall my adrenalin running this fast in the past 10 years.
What a
rush!!! We each shot a hog, and according to our wives, we each
smelled like
a hog by the time we drove home to West Palm Beach.
#1 150-160# boar shot with one - 12ga. slug and three - 40 cal.
bullets.
What a tough critter! (mine)
#2 150-160# boar shot with one soft nosed mini-30 cal. bullet
(SKS). Nice
tusks on this one!
#3 70 - 80# sow shot with one - 40 cal. bullet. Probably should
have let
this one go.
#4 100-110# boar shot twice with a 35 Remington. He was on the
move.
The hog butchering at Dick's place was a real education for us
city
slickers. They did a great job guiding and butchering, and were
all very
courteous.
Since we only brought a camcorder, I don't have any pictures to
send you.
Sorry.
I would definitely recommend your guide service. Thanks for a
great memory!
Sorry have no pictures! I was unable to take pictures
of their kills because I had other clients out fishing during
this hunt. I am however waiting for the above party to send me
pictures to post on this page of their wild boar hunting success.
