Wild boar hunters Matt Canepa
(Charleston, NC - e-mail: canepam@cofc.edu) and another hunter
each bagged a wild hog during an afternoon of wild boar hunting
with Ron's Guide Service on December 2, 2006. They hunted on privat
land in Glades county.

The hunt
was everything we hoped it be- a challenge, adventure and an incredible
lot of fun.
My brother-in-law
took one hog with a slug gun; I took two with a Taurus .44 Magnum
revolver- in my opinion the best tool for the job- the first within
feet in a sawgrass stand and the second at 30 yards running down
a drainage. Our guide was an excellent resource and good company.
