Wild boar hunters Rod Ruiz (Ft. Lauderdale,
FL - e-mail: ruizrod@yahoo.com) and 2 other
hunters each bagged a wild hog during an afternoon of wild boar
hunting with Ron's Guide Service on December 29, 2005. They hunted
on private land in the town of Okeechobee. They also combined
a Lake Okeechobee
afternoon and morning of duck hunting on December 28 & 29,
2005 with Cap'n Ron. They had action shots at Florida mallards,
teal and ring-necked ducks. Ducks were taken over decoys in the
flooded field areas south of the Monkey Box.
Sorry have no pictures! I was unable to take pictures
of their kills because I had other clients out duck hunting during
this hunt. I am however waiting for the above party to send me
pictures to post on this page of their wild boar hunting success.
