Bow Hunting For Wild Boar

Florida wild boar hog hunting with a bow and arrow is a very exciting way to hunt. Clean shots are indeed a challenge that usually requires several shots to put the hog down. The sight of a charging hog and battling dogs will have a bow hunter's hand shaking. Bows recommended for wild boar hog hunting with a bow and arrow are: long bow, compound bow, recurved bow and crossbow that must have a minimum draw weight of 35 pounds.

First let me begin by saying -- This was the best family hunt/experience we could have only dream about.
This being our first family hunt we did not know what to expect -- specially since we were hunting Pig with Compound Bows.

The morning hunt was great -- we started at 9 am and had 4 complete kills by 12:30 -- One being a Trophy Kill

Understand 2 kids ages 8 and 11 as well as My wife and Myself -- Complete Newbie's to Hunting with Compound Bows

Our Guide was extremely knowledgeable, polite and knew exactly what he was doing.
The Dogs also added to the morning excitement of the hunt.

I cant thank you enough for making this experience one that the entire family will never forget-- the kids are still talking about.

BOW HUNTER READY TO MAKE A KILL

The best way of hunting wild boar with a bow is from a swamp buggy. The height advantage from a buggy and it's ability to move through heavy brush and marsh offers a bow hunter an excellent shot for a clean kill.
Please advise me if you are hunting with a bow so that I can arrange a swamp buggy hunt.
However, ground level bow hunting is just as good as can be seen in the above photos.
