Hi Ron This is Justin. We went on the morning hunt and got 2 boars... I loved it.... The guides were really nice and they really were polite and patient...

My first hog I killed today was a quick one shot but the second i probably emptied about 12 twenty two rounds into it before it died!!! 3 in the head!!!!
They had to let another dog loose to get it to come back... it was fun!!! I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone I know!!!

Sorry so late with the pictures. My name is Adam Lerner. Today I took my son Dylan hunting for the first time. We were using Remington 870 Shotguns, and my Glock .40 cal. handgun. Being it was Dylan's 13th Birthday, I told him the first shot is yours. To my surprise, Dylan raised the shotgun, took a deep breath, as he was exhaling, he pulled the trigger. His first shot took the Boar off his feet. Dylan and I both got a nice sized boar. I intend to make this a yearly event with my three sons Andrew, Dylan and Tyler.
The guide that we went out with was very knowledgeable and dedicated time to my son Dylan to give him pointers before and during the hunt. You guys truly made this a childs birthday memory he will always keep.

Hey guys,
Our afternoon hunt was fantastic. My son Tyler had his first hunt today. He ended the day with a LARGE Boar and 2 sows. I got almost as lucky. I got a large boar and 1 sow. This hunt was for his thirteenth birthday. A day he will remember always. Thank you for a great guided hunt. The staff there are exceptional. Here is a picture of Tyler with his Boar, a picture of all our kills together and a picture of me and my son Tyler with our boars.

INCREDIBLE HUNT!

The guides were excellent. The dogs were tireless.

In less than 3 hours we took 6 pigs with a combination of

an English longbow
a Korean horsebow
2 replica 15th century boar spears
a modern "Cold Steel" boar spear
a replica 15th century hunting sword

Our group was dressed for the Saturday reenactment of the 1668 Raid
of St. Augustine, Florida by Captain Robert Searle and his band of
buccaneers.

An interesting note -- the term buccaneer comes from "boucanier", a
name for hunters of wild pigs & wild cattle on the island of Hispaniola.

We cooked a hindquarter over the campfire the following day, then
served it with a boucanier sauce straight from the history books.
The meat was PHENOMENAL!

The head of the boar I took with a sword is at Tyson's.

Capt.Ron, here are a few photo's of our hunt I have more if you need them.
The hunt was fantastic and very challenging, these pigs where running hard,and we managed to get the two. Our guide warned us that the pigs would probably come out running and he was right, he does know his stuff, he was very polite and helpful. I had some pig for dinner last night, the first wild one I have ever cooked, the taste was fine, when my wife eats it it has to be good, It was a little chewy but i'll find out how to tenderize it more the next time I cook it. Some of the guys in my park heard about our hunt and there going to book you some time in March. I know my buddy and I will be back again.
