Ron,
I have been
meaning to drop you a note about my Wild Boar hunt. My hunt on
the afternoon of March 19, 2003 was alot of fun. I have hunted
deer, turkey and water fowl since I was a teenager but never Wild
Boar. It was exciting shooting the 200 lb. male Wild hog with
my 12 gauge shotgun. The guides were very knowledgeable and the
dogs great.
I would
like to go again next year. Ron, you can use me as a reference
if you like, philipfrey@snet.net. Ron, see you March, 2004.

Ron,
Thanks for
the post.
A few corrections to the wording on our picture. Dick Sanwick
is from
Altoona Wisconsin. He got the Boar with the 12 gauge. I (Stuart)
got the
other two with a knife. Great shots though. Tell your guys that
my Uncle,
Dick Sanwick and I had a hell of a good time on our hunt on the
14th of
April. The process from start to finish was professional, exciting,
and
fun. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a good hunt, and a good
time.
We were
VERY satisfied!!
The guides are great folk, congenial, proffessional.
The hunt was a great value, very exciting, fast paced, the price
unbeatable with a "money back if no pig" feature to
boot!
Now one of the most important parts! The hogs had no smell WHATSOEVER!
THE MEAT WAS GREAT WITH NO NEED FOR MARINADING OR ANYTHING. I
prepared my loins with a recipe from a Zimbawean safari cook.
"Fruity Pork", Prepared with dried peaches and prunes.
Delicious, everybody liked it. I can give you the recipe if you
like, you could even make another page in your website for favorite
recipes. These hogs from the sugarcane fields apparently have
less gamey taste than the usual. It must be the diet.
I'll try next the meat prepared with another african bush recipe
in which you use COCA COLA of all things as part of the gravy.
We will be back.
Thanks,
Juan Cardenas MD

Ron, here are some pictures
of our Mother's day hunt. This was 9 year old
Charles "The Porkchop Assassin" Quinto's first hunt
ever. He downed his Beefy
Boar Hog with a 170 grain bullet from his 30-30 Winchester. I
was able to
take a nice sow using the same gun. The guides Mike and Johnny
Buck were
outstanding!! They really went out of there way to ensure that
we had a great
time. Also shown is proud mother and camera woman Emelie. We will
definitely
be back.

Last
one
and
by the way, my son Jean Douglas and I had an outstanding time.
Undoubtedly the finest hunting experience we have had. Please
say thank you so much to Mike and Johnny Buck. Those two gentleman
were fantastic as guides. The hunt was a going away present for
my son who has just left for the Navy. You made it a memorable
occasion. Your service is "top drawer". We'll be back
as soon as their is room in the freezer.

Ron,
here are a couple of photos from our May 2 boar hunt. It was our
second
hunt with you this year and our guides, Dick and Mike, did an
outstanding job
again.
Scott
got his boar with his 12 gauge shotgun using a slug. I dropped
my 150
boar where he stood with a 30-30 Winchester 150 grain bullet.
